On 2017/01/31 HPE released new patches for Linux, Windows and HP-UX (build 113). As a requirement you need to have Patch Bundle 9.08 installed. It is strongly recommended to read the full description of each patch.
If you own a valid support contract you can download the patches from https://softwaresupport.hp.com. For login you need the HPE Passport account. Please keep in mind to install the patches in correct order – see https://www.data-protector.org/wordpress/2013/06/basics-installation-order-patches/

Hello Daniel,
In a previous article, you wrote that Windows 2016 would probably be supported in this patch release.
As support matrices on support website have not been already updated, do you have a status on Windows 2016 support?
Thanks for you great work!
Regards,
Louis-Marie
Hi Louis-Marie,
you may have missed the support matrix update from January… Windows 2016 is supported for DP 9.08 as DA, MA and with some comment as CM.
Best regards
Daniel
Does this version support ESXi 6.5 / vSphere 6.5? The virtualisation support matrix is still dated October 2016.
Hi Chris,
yes, that’s right. No changes to the virtualization matrix, as 6.5 is not yet supported. So far I have no idea when it becomes supported. I did a wuick search for the QCCR, but not found…
Best regards
Daniel
